Travelling from Culham, Radley, Reading or London to Oxford by train you will normally arrive on Platform 4. You will need to cross the tracks using the pedestrian bridge and the main exit. During rush hour (5pm to 8pm) the side gate may be open which will lead you down the slope and 50 metres from the River Hotel.
Travelling from the north, Birmingham, Bicester, Banbury to Oxford by train you will normally arrive on Platform 3 and the main concourse of Oxford railway station.

Exit from the main concourse of the station and keep to the right, pass the bicylce stands and take the pedestrian overpass to cross Botley road. 100 metres
Walk down the pedestrian slope and turn back on yourself to walk under the railway bridge, along Botley road.
Walk along Botley road under the railway bridge. cross over Mill street, destination River Hotel will be on the left.
