Oxford railway station is a one hour journey to London Paddington and London Marylebone and less than hour to Birmingham New Street and Birmingham International. Oxford Gloucester Green Bus Station
If you plan to travel to Oxford by bus, you will be pleased to know Oxford bus station is less than a ten minute walk from River Hotel. The bus service from Oxford to London is very convenient, dropping you in the centre of London and with buses departing throughout the day and night. Airlines
If you arriving by flight, there are excellent and regular connections to Oxford; airline buses run from Oxford to London Heathrow, London Luton and London Gatwick. This is a much preferred route instead of travelling into central London on the train.
River Thames
Lying on the bank of the River Thames, we are in an excellent location to break your journey while walking the Thames Path Trail. Or when pleasure boating, canoeing or swimming the Thames. We offer a boot room to dry wet clothing and portable craft can be stored overnight in the garden.
