The River Hotel is an independently run 20 bedroom hotel close to Oxford city centre, in a residential part of Oxford and lying on the banks of the River Thames. The hotel has two buildings, the main hotel with reception, restaurant, most bedrooms and a garden down to the river and a smaller annexe directly opposite across the main road with seven bedrooms. All bedrooms are to the same standard, metro grading.
All twenty bedrooms are individually decorated and as this is an 1870's master builder's property vary in size and layout, as reflected by the varied tariff. With steps and stairs into all entrances, this may not be suitable for those with special needs.
All rooms have their own bathroom with toilet, bath and shower head. A personal touch with home style toiletries are provided. Eighteen rooms are full 'en-suite' (bath, shower and toilet) including the seven bedrooms in the annexe directly opposite across the main road. The two remaining rooms have a bathroom across the corridor for own private access.
