We spent 8 enjoyable nights at the River Hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable and the free parking and free breakfast were great, as was the service and the honesty minibar. The hotel is a pleasant 15 minute walk from town centre, or even better, a beautiful 20 minute walk along the Thames path beside the river. The staff were very friendly and really helpful. In a nutshell, we really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended. - David K
Lovely place to stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The garden had beautiful flowers in it...right off the River Thames. Easy access to the Riverwalk. About 5 minutes to the Oxford train station, and none of the places we wanted to visit were more than 20 minutes walk away. Many less than 20. Thank you for a great stay! - Colleen
Cheeky couple of days away in Oxford - last minute booking as let down by another place. Arrived a bit early but room was ready. We’d done a check in on line and that was ready to sign. Great info on location on check-in and some recommendations for eating out - great stuff. Room was great - all we needed. Breakfast- great menu and fresh cooked hot food in Fish Breakfast which was great. Staff great - couldn’t do enough. Parking included as was brekkie and due to location no low emissions charge. Quick walk into Oxford or walk on the Thames. Defo would stay again.- Adele T
